Coronavirus Update April 3, 2020 - NEW
All school offices, the school division’s administrative offices, and all outdoor facilities at Frederick County schools such as athletic fields, courts and playgrounds which were originally closed to the public through at least April 3 are now closed through at least June 10. Students and staff who need to come onto school property for Wi-Fi access to the FCPS computer network may still do so, but are asked to remain in their vehicles.

Student Registration
Student registration plans have been finalized for students who have moved to Frederick County and not yet enrolled in FCPS and for rising first-12th grade students who plan to enroll in FCPS for the 2020-21 school year.

Meeting Notice
School Board Meeting to Stream Live
On Tuesday, April 7, the Frederick County School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the FCPS Administration Building. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Frederick County Public Schools' commitment to adhering to current public health and safety recommendations such as social distancing, members of the general public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in person. However, the meeting will be made accessible to the public via a live video stream on the FCPS Facebook page.

Verify Contact Information
All families with students enrolled in FCPS are being asked to visit Parent/Student 360 to verify that their contact information is accurate. In addition, students are reminded to check their FCPS e-mail at least once each day so they don't miss any important information that may be sent to them by their school.

Internet Access for Instruction
FCPS is offering learning opportunities to all students, either through print or online resources. Families who do not have Internet access are being asked to contact each school in which they have a child enrolled to make them aware. Schools will be providing print materials to any students who need them in order to ensure all students receive the same educational opportunity. Additional details will be communicated as they become available.
